Lynn Green has been encouraging use of IBIS quality checklist to model creators who submit to the model review committee. - Opens for new items Discussed Closure strategy. The approach will be to complete documenting the parser enhancements, submit the enhancements to the open forum then declare victory. It would be highly desirable to encourage Software companies to implement checks and checklist output file formating. - Review of Checks not in Parser Continued review List of IBIS parser bug checks http://www.sisoft.com/ibis-quality/docs/iq_spec_ibischk_review15feb2005.txt Goal is to reviewed list of checks to submit as bugs to parser. Mike continues to update the parser bug into the IBIS quality Spec. This provides one reference document for all the information. Continued to walk through the list of checks generated Started at 4.1.13 S_overshoot subparameter complete Stopped at 4.5 Model Ramp Data Requirements Of the 3 major categories (BUG warning, BUG caution or DONE) most of the proposed additions are cautions. This should minimize additional warnings for IBIS model users but will aid the IBIS model creator. Cautions do not need explanations in ibis file. They are intended as mechanism to inform model creators of a possible issue. All Warnings should be explained in ibis file AR: Bob Haller to Check excessive current warning message AR: Mike LaBonte to update document and re-distribute Discussion regarding Levels 0 and 1 level 0 means checked by software level 1 implies manual check (i.e. to data sheet)and higher level of quality. Agreed that overshoot checks are level 1 checks, even if eventually implemented into parser.
